The Learning Lighthouse is a multimedia City Learning Centre and continues to be recognised as a centre for excellence in multimedia technology. We pride ourselves on our close relationship and service provision for Wirral Schools and teaching staff.

Within the specialism of multimedia the Learning Lighthouse has a particular focus on filmmaking and animation, supporting media studies in particular and developing its use across the curriculum.

As well as its multimedia focus the Learning Lighthouse supports the use of innovative technology in many other curriculum areas including art, music technology, science and field studies.
